  • 2013 NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION: LAUGH MORE
Countdowns are so 2012, but lists are still great, right? Check out 12 of our favorite gut-busters from last year, that still hold up today!
The Chris Gethard Show: Checking in with Alyssa
With guest appearances from some of the biggest names in comedy, this episode is easily the most star-studded hour the show’s ever put together, all in the name of making a young girl’s dreams come true.

I Hate Being Single: Wouldn’t Wanna Be Ya
Rob is pressured into attending a “get together” with Dom and his friend from work. When Dom leaves early, Rob is forced to play Jenga with a crowd of strangers. From beginning to end, one of the stronger episodes of this incredibly strong series.

Model Wife: Assistants
Karme hires some assistants and Cory can’t take it. Josh and Bill try to build a shelf. Then Karme hires more assistants. Oops, now you’re an assistant.
Julian Smith: ReservationDo dates in sketch comedy ever go well?
First Dates with Toby Harris: GrouponsToby tries to save money by using a Groupon. Needless to say, it doesn’t go well.
Dick Punch: Deus Ex MommymusUpon learning that their mother has suddenly moved to Florida, Josh and Ian grapple with her terrifying ultimatum: get jobs or get out of my apartment! This series starts REALLY strong.
RedLetterMedia: Half in the Bag Episode 37: Step Up RevolutionMike and Jay have finally arrived at the VCR Repair Shop and use the opportunity to discuss the latest Step Up film in great detail for an extended period of time, with absolutely no distractions or surprise cameos. NONE. Zero. Nada. No cameos to speak of. WINK. Get it?
Pat and Andy: Just DroopyTwo dudes talk about their dudes.
David Mitchell’s SoapBox: Pointy ShoesAs pointy as shoes can be, David Mitchell is the master of pointlessness.
Bubala Please: Making LatkesJaquann and Luis help usher in Hanukkah with their super-special gangsta latke recipe.
Howard Gets an Interview: CompetitionWhile waiting for a job interview, Howard’s competition tries to get the upper hand.
The Untitled Web Series: InternetMorgan uses the internet. Everyone loves the internet.

  • We’re very excited to introduce the three newest producers in the Blip Studios family: Julian Smith, KipKay, and The Cinema Snob!

    • Actor and filmmaker Julian Smith brings comedy in small doses that reflect real-life situations.
    • A self-taught “tinkerer,” KipKay realized he could fuse his interest of electronics and video production by creating how-to videos on the internet, leading to KipKay Videos, a treasure trove of cool tricks and pranks for the DIY-er.
    • Brad Jones portrays the The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film critic with a penchant for reviewing Z-grade exploitation films.

As Tubefilter notes, each one of “[t]heir successes make[s] them great role models for young, aspiring creators,” and we’re proud to partner with such talented producers. Welcome aboard guys!
